Meet Dr. Rose Shimonova (Centennial, CO)

Rose Shimonova, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University- Arizona College of Optometry. She completed a residency in primary care and ocular disease at Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Amarillo, Texas.

Dr. Shimonova has been practicing since 2014 and specializes in primary care and ocular disease. She is passionate about providing quality eye care and has extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye syndrome. In addition, Dr. Shimonova is skilled in fitting custom contact lenses, including rigid gas permeable lenses, hybrid lenses, and scleral lenses.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Shimonova is passionate about community service. She has participated in mission trips to Mexico and Belize, bringing much-needed eye care to underserved populations. She also enjoys volunteering at community events like the Special Olympics, demonstrating her dedication to making a positive impact.

Outside of work, Dr. Shimonova enjoys cooking, traveling, and cherishing time with her family and friends.
